2. What this website is for
This site describes our services, publishes our rates and lets you send us an enquiry. It's information — nothing on it is an offer to enter a contract, and submitting an enquiry doesn't create one.
A contract exists once we've given you a written quote and you've accepted it, or we've otherwise agreed in writing to carry out work.
3. Prices
Our published rates are current as at the date shown on the Pricing page. We update them from time to time and the rates that apply are the ones in your written quote.
Prices shown exclude GST unless stated otherwise. GST is added at the rate applying when we invoice.
Published hourly rates and minimum charges are what we charge for straightforward work in our service area. The final cost of any job depends on what we find. Where a job needs materials, access equipment, or work we couldn't reasonably have anticipated, we'll tell you before we carry on — we won't add it afterwards.
Quoted prices are fixed for the work described in the quote, and valid for 30 days unless the quote says otherwise.
4. The work itself
These terms cover the website. The work we do for you is governed by the terms set out in your written quote and any applicable terms of trade provided with it.
Nothing here limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 where those apply to you.
5. Estimates and indicative information
Some information on this site is indicative and provided to help you plan:
- Testing and tagging intervals vary with the equipment and the environment. The intervals shown are a general guide. We confirm the right schedule for your site when we inspect it.
- Our Test + Tag calculator gives a ballpark based on an item count you provide. It isn't a quote.
- Response times are what we aim for, not guarantees. Weather, emergencies and workload affect them.
6. Accuracy
We keep this site accurate and current, but we don't warrant that everything is complete or error-free at all times. If something looks wrong, tell us and we'll fix it.
7. Our content
The text, photographs, logos and design on this site belong to us or our licensors. The job photographs are of work our team carried out.
The Quality Assured Master Electrician mark and the $20,000 Workmanship Guarantee seal belong to Master Electricians New Zealand and are used under their brand guidelines.
You may read, print and share pages for your own purposes. Please don't republish our content commercially or present it as yours without asking.

We sometimes link to other websites. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content.
